Printable time, and this time it’s Scorpio, the scorpion. This one didn’t come quite as easily as last months, so I played around with ideas and eventually settled on a very simplistic design with a trio of scorpions. Might upset some people with this one, but dang, I found it pretty hard to make scorpions look cute. But I’m glad about the results!
A cool fact about this colouring page: it’s drawn entirely in a new program. I used to be an avid user of Paint Tool Sai, but a few months ago I treated myself to Clip Studio Paint, and I’m not looking back. I spent October working on a fun event called “inktober” and used it to practice Clip Studio Paint, and I’m very happy about the results. Drawing linework is soo much faster now! Please let me know how you feel about it in the comments below if there’s anything unusual about it that you notice.
This piece features a winding vine across the page, with three scorpions on top of the vine. The scorpions are in various different poses, but all of them are having fun. The background is decorated with simple star shapes and a hexagon pattern.
As always, feel free to share this post with friends and family who enjoy colouring pages. Also, I would love to see how your drawings look in the comments below, or with the hashtag #ConfoundedDIY.
