About Me

About me

My name is Isla. I’m a mother of a cat, and auntie to two more, and have worked with yarn for most of my life — it’s difficult to do with cats about! Though I have studied an array of subjects (even game development, for a while), arts and crafts have been my love since childhood. Ever since I was a little child, leaving a mess of paper everywhere, I knew crafts were going to stay with me throughout my life.

Having dealt with mental health issues before, and with friends who have suffered the same, I am passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and to end the stigma surrounding it. I also love advocating crafts as a way to relax and de-stress, and invite you to spend a relaxing afternoon trying one of my crafts. Here are a few of my personal favourites:

I also have free printable colouring pages available right here for you to practice mindfulness with, too! Bear in mind that these pieces of artwork are for personal use only — that being, colouring for mindfulness practice. Feel free to give them a look, friend!
